Fiona began her journey in massage therapy in 2003, completing her first year of studies with a deep interest in the human body, nutrition, and the treatment of muscular issues. She went on to achieve her Certificate in Remedial Massage in 2009 and later completed her Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage and Myotherapy in 2012.
Over the years, Fiona has developed expertise in a range of advanced techniques, including structural assessment, sports massage, injury management, and fascial release. Her approach to treatment is holistic—she looks beyond the symptoms to identify the root cause of muscular issues, taking into account the full picture of a person’s health and lifestyle.
Transitioning from a traditional massage therapist to a dedicated Bodywork Therapist, Fiona focuses on addressing underlying causes, releasing scar tissue and fascial restrictions, reducing tension in the nervous system, and supporting emotional wellbeing. She also has a keen interest in nutrition, the microbiome, and overall health and fitness.
Fiona works with a wide range of clients, including athletes and those dealing with everyday muscular aches, pains, and headaches. Her passion for learning continues, and she is currently expanding her skills by studying Craniosacral Therapy.
Fiona is enthusiastic about connecting with and helping people from all walks of life on their journey to better health.
