What is Physiotherapy?

“Physiotherapy is a science based health care profession concerned with human function, movement and maximising human potential. It uses physical approaches such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue work and exercise prescription to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being. It is science-based and committed to applying, evaluating and reviewing the evidence that underpins and informs its practice and delivery”.
