At No More Knots, we are passionate about ‘doing our bit’.

We believe that if every person makes small changes for the greater good, it can put a big dent in important environmental and humanitarian issues. Listed below are some of the small things the team here at NMK are committed to doing, to ensure we are doing our bit to help our planet and its population.

Chemical FREE Cleaning

Norwex is a company who are committed to radically reducing chemicals in our homes and workplaces to promote the health of your family friends and of the environment.

We have incorporated these new products into our routine and are so comfortable knowing that by reducing the use of cleaning chemicals in our workplace we are creating a healthier environment for staff and clients alike and have reduced our environmental impact tenfold.

Norwex provides an excellent solution to cleaning chemical-free and still does an amazing cleaning job!

World Vision

Our staff members donate $2 of their income every fortnight, towards sponsoring two children, Kingstone and Ronaldon through World Vision.

Thank You products

Thank You are dedicated to providing the community with amazing products and hygiene education, all whilst funding and initiating clean water projects in developing nations.

If you haven’t tried these hand wash and sanitising products, please do so when you’re in the clinic – they smell phenomenal!

To fall in line with achieving health, we have chosen to support an awesome organisation Emma & Tom’s and their Life Bars.

Emma & Tom’s do an amazing product in their life bars and we believe it’s the perfect healthy, post-massage snack instead of the sugary treats!

Who Gives A Crap toilet paper is made from environmentally friendly materials and 50% of their profits are donated to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world!

What began as a crowd funding campaign has transformed into a company with a vision we love, and are so proud to be supporting.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

In 2012, No More Knots participated in a number of community ‘green’ initiative meetings through Climate Smart, and sought the advice of green experts about some changes we could make to help reduce our carbon footprint.

Energy Use

We have replaced all of our lights with energy efficient bulbs.
Paper towels in our bathrooms have been swapped for energy efficient Dyson Airblade dryers to help reduce our carbon footprint.

Natural Resource Conservation

No More Knots gardens have been specifically designed with drought resistant plants.
We only use water dispersible massage oils.
No More Knots uses towels made of a specific material to cut down the loads of washing and drying each day.
All ongoing client files and notes are kept securely on servers and in the Cloud, instead of on paper.
Where possible, natural cleaners such as bicarbonate soda and vinegar are used around the clinic or alternatively, Earth Friendly off-the-shelf products.

Recycling

Unfortunately the collection of recycling is not a standard service for businesses within Brisbane City Council so NMK has signed up for a paid service, to ensure our recyclable waste is taken care of in an environmentally responsible way.
