With almost a decade of full time experience in the profession, Dan has built up a wide array of knowledge working with some of the world’s best athletes, sporting teams and the everyday person competing in the sport of life. As a former lecturer he has always maintained a healthy thirst for current knowledge and understanding of the human body so he can offer his clients the most up to date "best practice" when it comes to manual therapy and refer them in the most appropriate direction if manual therapy is not best aligned to meet their goals. With extensive experience working in sports medical settings Dan is more than happy to provide hands on work in support of your primary care physicians program. If you want a no nonsense approach to treatment with a therapist who will work with you and not just on you Dan might be your guy. He likes to get his clients back to feeling and moving like the best version of themselves whilst giving them the skills to self-maintain.

Peta (SNR) Payne

SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR

Peta studied her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and has been part of the NMK team since 2007. She employs a range of techniques to achieve positive and lasting outcomes for her clients including myofascial release, soft and deep tissue procedures, MET's, cupping, and trigger point therapy. An avid roller-blader, Peta enjoys treating people from all walks of life, sporting and non-sporting alike.

Hannah (SMYO) Cuell

SENIOR MYOTHERAPIST & PILATES INSTRUCTOR - CONTRACTOR

Hannah graduated in 2008 with a degree in Musculoskeletal therapy and a diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy. Hannah’s treatment techniques include myofascial release, soft tissue and deep tissue techniques, cupping, trigger point therapy, myofascial dry needling, neuromuscular techniques.

Doug (ERMT) Slessor
EXPERT REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
 
British born, Doug completed a Bachelor of Science (hons) - Sports Therapy in the UK and furthered his skills completing a Remedial Massage Diploma at the Australian College of Massage in Sydney. While abroad, Doug worked with several Irish football and English Rugby League teams. Before joining No More Knots, his professional work in Australia has been focused at several large multi-disciplinary physiotherapy practices located in Sydney. Doug’s experience working within private practice, fitness clubs and with sporting teams affords him an excellent skill set to offer his clients.

Annika (SNR) Bjorklund

SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR

Born in Finland, Annika completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney.  She then gained experience working as a massage therapist in Stockholm, Sweden, before moving back to Australia and settling in Brisbane.  Annika enjoys treating a wide range of clients presenting with complaints derived from sports injuries and postural imbalances.  She is passionate about addressing physiological and psychological traumas in the body.

Dušan (SNR) Mihalec
SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR
 
Dušan graduated in 2013 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Endeavour College of Natural Health. He has a passion for all things health and fitness, particularly outdoor sports, which led him to trek to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa. A strong urge to help others prompted a move to remedial massage after working in the Architecture industry. During this career Dušan himself, experienced postural dysfunction associated with long office hours. The process of correcting this has led to an interest in helping others with similar issues. Dušan believes massage can play a very important role in everyone's health and well-being. He is excited to be helping clients from all walks of life to achieve their best potential.

Kate (SNR) Pascoe
SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR
 
Kate completed her Remedial Massage Diploma in 2009 and completed a Bachelor of Clinical Science Human Structure and Function and Osteopathic studies in 2016. Kate combines Deep Tissue massage with more gentle fascial/neurological techniques and has a special interest in how muscles and tissues tighten up all over the body due to stress. Kate is also interested in helping her clients achieve an improved quality of health through spaced treatments combined with self-care at home. Her current hobbies include song writing, body surfing and running.

Fran (SNR) Merz
SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR

Fran has long been passionate about health care, working first as a nurse in Switzerland and Australia, before completing her Remedial Massage Diploma in Victoria in 2014. Working in consultation with her clients, Fran enjoys treating the whole body and has a special interest in treating complications of the neck and shoulders. For her own fitness, formerly Fran was a competitive horse rider. She now enjoys swimming, cycling and bush walking and has recently started playing tennis.

Luke (SNR) Gorissen
SENIOR REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST - CONTRACTOR
Luke completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage early in 2014. He has wasted no time gaining hands-on experience with the likes of the Melbourne Victory, Firebirds, Queensland Academy of sport Rowing and Trination triathlon squad. Luke has an evidence based and results focused treatment style incorporating dynamic postural and flexibility tests to give real-time client feedback. He is a firm believer that prevention is the best solution, and combines modalities like deep tissue, trigger pointing, myofascial release, stretching, muscle energy techniques, positional release, cryotherapy and joint mobilisation to achieve the best possible results. Having competed in a multitude of sporting discourses, Luke has gained a firsthand understanding of the injury and rehabilitation process from both the patient and professional perspective. Combining these two perspectives enables Luke to develop comprehensive treatment plans that offer consistent results for clients.

With a hands on and very personal approach, Luke enjoys establishing healthy working relationships that empower people with knowledge about their body, support their ongoing return to health and encourage continuing improvement in performance and life quality.

Maddy Greene
Reception Team

Beginning in July 2015, Maddy worked hard from the get-go and was extremely adaptable to the clinic lifestyle, she is studying a dual degree at UQ of Engineering and Commerce. Maddy has a lot of travelling experience spending 6 months travelling around Europe before working in a boarding school in the UK. Most of her spare time consists of planning her next trip or hitting the coast.
Damien (SNR) Brown

Damien graduated with a diploma of remedial massage from Q Academy in Brisbane. He has a back ground in personal training and likes to incorporate these skills into his post treatment advice for his clients. Damien likes to make his treatments enjoyable, with a focus on educating clients along the way so they get the most from each session. He has played and been involved with AFL, kickboxing, motorbike riding (on-road and off), ultimate Frisbee and touch Football. He enjoys working in a team to achieve a goal, which has crossed over into his treatments. He works with his clients to achieve long lasting change and improvement in quality of life.

Caroline (SNR) Willingale

Caroline completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage on the Gold Coast in 2006 and since then has worked with clients from all walks of life. She has gained invaluable experience working alongside a physiotherapist and osteopath in the past and in 2015 completed the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in order to further her knowledge and treatment skills. Caroline prefers a gentle approach to treatment and encourages her clients to help themselves to reclaim their health and mobility.

Sam completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian Institute of Fitness in early 2016. He has a keen interest in helping restore body movement using his knowledge and always strives to expand his knowledge of muscle movement and dysfunction. Sam's excitement in expanding his knowledge base lead him to complete his Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy at Q Academy in 2017.

Ian (SMYO) MacIntosh

Ian holds a Bachelor in Health Sciences (Myotherapy) and a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.
Originally motivated to study this field through his passion and work with horses and experience with
Equine Massage he is fascinated by how muscles and the body works. Ian has a strong passion for
continual professional development which has led to completing numerous other short courses which add to his already very strong skill set. He has a wealth of experience in Musculoskeletal Therapy having
worked with numerous sports teams and the Queensland Ballet Company.

Izzy joined the No More Knots reception team in November 2016 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing at ACU. Izzy has a passion for caring for people and enjoys being part of a clinic that focuses on improving the health and well-being of individuals. In Izzy’s spare time she enjoys being at the beach, watching a good Netflix thriller or being with her family and friends.
Erin (ERMT) Haske

Erin is an exercise physiologist as well as having several years in the massage industry. Her treatments bring together components of each speciality, creating an outcome where pain, restriction, and function are all improved to give immediate relief and decrease future occurrences.

Adrianne completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage 2016 and also completed her Myotherapy course in mid-2017 at Q-Academy in Brisbane. She enjoys treating people from all walks of life with a special interest in treating neck, shoulder and back pain. Her interests include boxing and yoga, and she enjoys spending her free time outdoors or at the beach with her child and fur child.

Jess (SNR) Boyd

Jess completed her Diploma in Remedial Massage at the Australian Institute of Fitness in early 2015. With an extensive history of dance injuries, Jess now competes in power-lifting and believes strongly in the relationship between strength training and remedial massage therapy to help people become stronger, and improve movement patterns as a way to live a balanced lifestyle. Jess has worked closely with strength training coaches and athletes using deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling and cupping to improve a variety of injuries from lower back, shoulder and elbow pain to improving overall tissue quality, mobility and flexibility and recovery time between training sessions.

Whitney (RMT) Brown

Whitney is originally from a cattle station in North West Queensland. Whitney grew up with a very active lifestyle on her family’s cattle station and participated in a number of different sports including rowing, at state level, netball, AFL and Rugby 7s. This is where she developed her interest in injury prevention & massage.  Whitney completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) in early 2018. 
Whitney understands the importance for quality treatment to maintain and improve and enjoy everyday life.  She has a great passion and enthusiasm for sports (Has worked with the Brisbane Broncos) and helping people achieve their personal health goals.

Jackie graduated with a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy from Q Academy in 2016. She first became interested in massage while working with infants in early childhood education, learning that human touch encourages brain development in children. As a natural nurturing type, Jackie saw a career in massage as a potentially rewarding one. As a therapist, Jackie is sensitive and intuitive. Jackie is passionate about keeping active and the benefits of keeping people moving. She loves her yoga, treadmill and elliptical, and dancing with her young sons.

She is currently finishing up her Bachelor in Exercise Physiology with the hope of working with those living with neurological conditions and cancer. With a strong interest in health, movement and helping others, Hannah really enjoys being part of a clinic that focuses on holistic well-being. Outside of work and study you can find her on the beach with her dog, exercising or spending time with family and friends.
Hamish (SNR) Topp

Seeking change from the corporate world and with a desire to help people cope with the physical and mental stresses of modern living, Hamish began working as a Massage Therapist in London and has continued to both practice, study and train
internationally since 2003. Hamish has treated and worked with people of most occupations and over the years has come to specialise in a technique called Myofascial Release Therapy as it always comes up as one of the most effective manual therapy techniques with getting positive results regardless of someones occupation or background. Focused and inquisitive in the work he does, Hamish is ready to support you in your wellbeing journey. If you suffer from tension or pain through the neck, shoulders, jaw, spine, ribs, lower back and pelvis Hamish is especially effective in treating these areas.

Marco (SNR) Torres-Durand

Marco completed his Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy and Certificate IV at Harvest Education Technical College Brisbane. He holds a Diploma in Sports through the Australian College of Sport and Fitness. As a Health Practitioner, Marco's priority is always to give the best treatment possible to all clients through various massage techniques. These include soft and deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, cupping and relaxation. Marco enjoys treating clients with general aches and pains, along with those who have particular concerns or sporting injuries. Originally practising Dentistry in Peru, Marco thoroughly enjoys his new pathway as a Remedial Massage Therapist. On days off, Marco loves a variety of sports such as water-polo, swimming and strength training.
